The search for meaning in everything often leads back to the search itself, but is this the answer? And if it is, is that enough?

It’s four a.m.
In between now and then
No one nearby
Seems to know just why
I’m always awake
And starting to break
Just an empty shell

When every hour of every day
Seems endless and it’s all the same
Digging deeper to find some purpose
